Convocatoria de SWU para artículos sobre la Franja y la Ruta

El Centro de Estudios de Países Hispánico de la Universidad del Sudoeste de China (de Chongqing) convoca a trabajos sobre la Franja y la Ruta para estudiantes y exestudiantes en China sobre el 10 aniversario de la Iniciativa de la Franja y la Ruta.

Los artículos deberán ser de 3000-5000 palabras, en chino o inglés, y los seleccionados tendrán una contribución de 500 yuanes como honorario más premio otorgado por SWU y la publicación de esos trabajos en una editorial china.

Manuscript of One Hundred Scholars Studying in China Discussing the Ten Years of “Belt and Road” Construction

Call for Papers

In the autumn of 2013, the joint construction of the “Silk Road Economic Belt” and the “21st  Century Maritime Silk Road” proposed by President Xi Jinping during his visits to Kazakhstan and Indonesia will soon pass 10 years. Nearly ten years of construction have yielded fruitful results.

Until now, China has signed more than 200 cooperation documents on the joint construction of the “Belt and Road” with 145 countries and 33 international organizations; relevant cooperation concepts and propositions have been written into the United Nations, 20 countries The outcome documents of important international mechanisms such as the Group, APEC, Shanghai Cooperation Organization, China-CELAC Forum, etc., the “Belt and Road” has become a popular international public product and international cooperation platform in the world today.

International students are not only appreciators, carriers and learners of culture and civilization, but also communicators and practitioners of cultural exchanges, and are responsible for important missions such as promoting bilateral cooperation. According to statistics, about 300,000 international students from countries along the route are currently studying and living in China. In order to review and summarize the achievements of the “Belt and Road” construction, the “Belt and Road” Anti-Poverty Research Center of Southwest University and the Spanish National Research Center of Southwest University jointly published the “One Belt and One Road” Construction Ten Hundreds of Scholars in China. Years”, invites international students in China to tell the impact and changes brought about by the “Belt and Road” initiative on their country’s economy, politics, culture, society, individuals and families from the perspective of scholars and the facts around them. To enhance bilateral and multilateral understanding and friendship, and contribute wisdom to the development of the next decade.

Specific requirements are as follows:

1. Contributors must be international students from countries along the “Belt and Road” (currently studying or have graduated, and have been in China or have returned to China).

2. Main content: Use fresh facts and credible data to describe the impact of the “Belt and Road” construction on the country’s economy, social construction, as well as individuals and families. (Pay attention to the source of the data) according to the following structure:

• How did you get the opportunity to study in China

• Insights from studying in China

• Career plans after graduation (or current job plan)

3. Each manuscript should be 3000-5000 words, with vivid and fluent text, both pictures and texts;

the language is Chinese and English, and it is encouraged to write mainly in Chinese. At the end of

the manuscript, a personal 50-word resume and personal study photos are attached.

4. Deadline for manuscripts: before December 31, 2022.

Once the article is adopted after strict review, a manuscript fee of RMB 500 will be paid, and a certificate of honor will be issued by the organizer.
